⤐ Glazed Maple Popcorn

Happy New Year, everyone! Now that all the holidays are over we often try to get rid of all the sweets we have leftover, but it is challenging. This popcorn is an amazing way to get over your sweet tooth from the holidays. Although it is not super healthy, in comparison to other treats, it is much better than plain old caramel popcorn. This one is definitely by far my favorite. It is an excellent party treat, movie companion, or for basically any day when a sweet craving hits.

Serves: 3-5
Tools: small pan and wooden spoon
Prep time: Cook: 3 min. Total: 8-10 min.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of popcorn kernels
2 T. of unrefined, cold pressed virgin coconut oil
1/4 cup 100% Maple syrup
1 tsp. 100% vanilla extract
Sea salt to taste

1. Pop kernels on stovetop or air popper.
2. Boil coconut oil with maple syrup in a small pan for 2 minutes. Stir occasionally.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
4. Quickly pour over cooked popcorn and let cool for 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
